My parents came for a visit to DC. It was so fun to take them around town and show them all the sights. Plus, Sarah and I ate for free. Can't beat that! Here's a picture of us and Big George outside the GWU law school.
We also went to Mt. Vernon with my folks, which was pretty fun. It was really nice to be able to take my parents around some of these places. Plus, we went to Five Guys Burgers and Fries afterwards. Us Petersons love to eat.
Here's another picture of us at Mt. Vernon. The place is huge, and they had a really cool museum. George Washington was a pretty amazing guy. I'm glad I decided to go to his university.
And no trip to DC would be complete without a trip to Ben's Chili Bowl. This place is amazing. If you go, definitely get the chili cheese fries, and the chili half-smoke. Apparently, it's Bill Cosby's favorite.

...and no visit to Mesa, AZ would be complete without a trip to Larry's Yellow Taco Stand. Apparently, it's still some unknown yet disgruntled neighbor's favorite!
I can't wait to visit the Taco Stand in August. Also, I think that last picture of you guys at Ben's Chili Bowl is my favorite, partly because of the ghostly profile of you looming above Mom's head.
What can I say...I'm always watching over her...and fyi...thats not my ghostly profile, it's mom's shadow...we've become one.
