Christmas with the Petersons!

For our grand sendoff from Washington, DC, Sarah made us some more cupcakes. This time she did red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting, and they were pretty awesome. I was sad we had to give most of them away.

This is Christmas at the Petersons in Arizona, before all the children arrived. It all looks so calm and serene.

Here is my Mom's famous tower of treats. It had every type of Christmas treat known to man, and I managed to sample them all... daily.

Here Sarah marveling at all the gifts that Santa brought. I think she was just surprised that Santa chose to give her anything at all.

And last of all, this is our nephew, Sam. He's the biggest 3-month-old baby we've ever seen, but he's still pretty cool. Sarah and I had a fantastic Christmas.

Thanks for capturing the calm before the storm...and for setting the table.

Yummy... Your mom is so cute. Hope DC is wonderful as ever. We're always looking for a free weekend to come up there. (is there such thing in law school?) But, gotta take advantage while we're on the east coast. We'll give ya a ring next time we're up your way... what's your email?
